Arsenal are reportedly eyeing up a transfer move for Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus as a replacement for contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.
The Gunners are still hoping to tie Sanchez down to a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, though talks over a £200,000-per-week deal are ongoing.
Manchester City and Juventus are among the big names who could lure the Chile international away, and Arsene Wenger is already preparing for that eventuality by looking at Reus.
The Germany international has been linked with the Gunners in the past, as Wenger has long been a big fan of his.
And according to the Daily Mirror, a move for the £30million-rated attacker could be back on the cards as Arsenal would look for a big name to fill Sanchez’s boots up front.
Reus recently returned from a six-month injury layoff and will be eager to show he can reach top form with Dortmund again before considering a big move away.
