Arsenal still owe Real Madrid a major percentage of the fee for Mesut Ozil.
The Sun says they are thought to still owe Real Madrid around £11million on the transfer of Ozil in 2013.
The Gunners agreed to pay the Spanish giants £42.5m for the German midfielder, whose switch to the Emirates was seen by fans as a major coup for boss Arsene Wenger.
The move came at time when Wenger was being hotly accused of being afraid to produce his cheque book.
The news surrounding Ozil’s fee has come to light following Real’s interest in signing Aaron Ramsey.
