A passenger bus travelling from Lagos to Ondo State crashed early Tuesday morning, with many feared dead.


The accident which involved one of Ondo State’s Sunshine buses occurred at Charly Boy bus stop, by Anthony along Gbagada Road.

The fully-loaded bus was a 12-passenger vehicle which reportedly took off from Oshodi.

An eye-witness at the accident scene at about 4.30am said he saw many bodies laid on the ground.

Police officers were also reportedly seen evacuating the dead from the accident scene.

Though a stationary truck was seen at the accident scene, it could not be ascertained yet if the vehicle ran into it.

The incident reportedly led to a traffic snarl on the road.
