Chelsea finally set to loan out major star after this development

The Blues are desperate to get the Spain international off their books this winter after his failure to break into the side under new manager Antonio Conte.

The Italian took over at Stamford Bridge in the summer and has barely used Fabregas, starting him just once in the Premier League so far this term.

The 29-year-old is one of Chelsea’s highest earners, however, and The Times claim the club are keen to get him off their books if he’s not a key part of Conte’s first-team plans.

AC Milan were interested in Fabregas over the summer, though a move broke down due to Chelsea’s unwillingness at the time to pay some of his wages while he was out on loan.

Their stance has now changed, though Fabregas himself is understood to be keen to remain in London, where he and his family are settled.
