Featuring on Channel’s Television programme, he explained that for corruption to be described as a crime against humanity, there must be a specific identified crime.

Giwa also berated the Department of State Services, DSS, over the recent raid of some judges’ homes across the country as part of its ongoing corrupt investigation.

He said, “In some quarters, because of the effect on the entire system of certain nations, some people tend to elevate corruption as a crime against humanity.”

  1. I watched Mr Giwa's Channel's news interview this morning, and as always he fell into the category of that kind of Nigerian so full of pride and thinking he exudes knowledge whilst express their opinions in any public fora (don't really know how channels get to chose their discussants).
Always in a rush to show off intelligence/knowledge...call it whatever, without proper analysis and the ability to deeply reflect on utterances in a very public domain.
I mean, I was shocked to hear that Corruption is not a crime to humanity??? Serious for a young man to say this in this day and age. Are we supposed to be leaders of the future and role models? A pinch rushed me back to reality.
For the likes of these class of persons, Please note that the only thing constant is change (not affiliating it to Buhari's kind of change in any way). Yes, Nigeria will not remain like this, I am hopeful. There will be a rise of the real human intellects who will think things through and thoroughly before any kind of expressions. Then maybe posterity will hold such utterances against persons with unguarded thoughts. I look forward to such a time God willing.
For the records, "CORRUPTION IS NOT JUST A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY...BUT AGAINST ANYTHING THAT HAS LIFE IN IT"
