Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he didn’t have a post-match drink with Manchester United counterpart Jose Mourinho.

Speaking ahead of the Citizens’ Champions League match with Borussia Monchengladbach, the Catalan claimed that the pair were too busy to meet after the derby clash.

‘No. We had lot of things to do after the game. We have no time,’ he told reporters on Monday.

Guardiola had said before the encounter that he would accept any invitation for a drink with the Portuguese, so it could be assumed that the Red Devils boss didn’t ask his adversary.
