Torino goalkeeper Joe Hart has stated that he is not thinking about Manchester City at the moment.

Having failed to impress City manager Pep Guardiola, Hart was unceremoniously offloaded on loan to Torino this summer and the England international is currently doing a fine job for the Italian Serie A outfit.

It remains to be seen as to whether Hart will be able to reclaim the number one spot at City next season but the 29-year-old has insisted that he is simply focusing on Torino at the moment and is not concerned with what is happening at the Etihad Stadium.

Hart said ahead of Tuesday’s friendly between England and Spain: “I’m just enjoying my time in Torino. I’m a Torino player for this season.

“I’ve got two years on my contract after this season.

“It’s difficult to look too far ahead of that and, without passing the buck, it’s not really my responsibility to think about.

“The City fans have always been fantastic to me and showed me a lot of support and it’s a club I will always hold dear to my heart.”
