Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has said he expects fans to fill up the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo and cheer the Super Eagles to victory tomorrow against Algeria.
A win at home on Saturday will consolidate Nigeria’s leadership of their World Cup qualifying group after they won 2-1 in Zambia last month and Algeria and Cameroon cancelled each other in Blida.
“The fans should help us to win this game,” urged Rohr.
“What I can assure everyone is that the team will fight on the pitch, they will give everything.
“We will have a big game.”
He also disclosed that all 23 players are fit and available for selection.
In the meantime, the Eagles will have their final training by 4pm today at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, while the visiting Algerians work out inside the mainbowl of the arena.
