Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has suggested he’ll retire from football if the Red Devils win the Premier League.

The Swede’s won a league title in 13 of his last 15 campaigns and immediately targeted the Premier League after sealing a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 35-year-old has eight goals in 16 appearances for the Red Devils so far this term but his form in goal dipped massively after a fantastic start to life at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho’s side are sixth in the table going into the international break and Ibrahimovic has hinted he’ll call it a day if United manage to lay their hands on the league title this season.

‘Oooof it would be fantastic [if United win the league],’ said Ibrahimovic.

‘If I could win the Premier League, the next day I would stop playing football… almost!

‘We have been a little bit unlucky in certain games, but we believe and when you believe it will come. Hopefully I can win it and I will win it.’
