Ibrahimovic ended his goal drought when he struck twice in the 3-1 win at Swansea City on Sunday, having not scored in his previous six Premier League appearances.

Until the trip to South Wales, the 35-year-old had managed just one goal in 11 games in all competitions, against Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League.

Ibrahimovic told MUTV: “Yes, it has gone a couple of games where I haven’t scored but I’m still trying, I’m still going, and the chances will come.

“You just have to be focused and try to get them in. I’ve been a little bit unlucky in other games, but it comes.”

The United striker added that he had not been worried during his barren spell, saying: “You know what? After 15 years at a professional level, I’ve scored a lot of goals. I’ll keep scoring. I know how it works.

“As long as you still create your chances, you are still in the zone. The goals will come, so I’m not worried about that.”

The Swede’s brace at Swansea took his career tally of club goals to 400, and he said: “It’s a nice record, but it’s nothing I think about now.

“I stay focused on trying to score as much as possible, as long as I’m playing.

“Yes, it’s a lot of goals. Probably, I have [a number of] goals that players don’t have [in their total of] games, so I’m happy with that.”

Ibrahimovic was booked for a challenge on Swansea’s Leroy Fer, meaning he is suspended for the home match against Arsenal on Nov. 19 after the international break.

The former Paris Saint-Germain striker said: “Hopefully everyone comes back with a 100 percent focus. If we can win two, three, four games in a row, the confidence naturally comes with it.

“The team is not at 100 percent, but we are working very hard.

“We were unlucky in a couple of games. But we are fighting hard. We are training hard. Our focus is the same. We will try to recover the points we lost.”
