The 53-year-old only took over at United this summer, but has not made the most convincing start with the Red Devils, who sit 6th in the Premier League table, nine points off leaders Chelsea.

Mourinho admits he is still reeling from his side’s draw at home to Arsenal over the weekend, and knows he will need a result in this week’s Europa League game against Feyenoord.
