The former Valencia defender has heaped praise on his Germany team-mate after he was named in the 2016 Goal 50 as one of the 50 best players in the world.
Shkodran Mustafi says that his Arsenal team-mate Mesut Ozil deserves his place in the 2016 Goal 50, claiming that he is a unique talent capable of doing whatever he wants with the ball.
The 24-year-old defender only joined the Gunners from Valencia during the summer but he already knew Ozil well from their time together with the German national team.

As a result, Mustafi is not in the least bit surprised that Ozil has been included in the 2016 Goal 50, with the former Real Madrid attacking midfielder ranking 37th in the list of the 50 best players in the world.
“He has the skills, vision, intelligence, quality”, the 24-year-old centre-half told Goal .
“Mesut’s left foot can play every pass he wants.
“He has so much quality but the most important thing is that he is willing to show it on the pitch.
“Sometimes you see players with so much quality but they can’t produce on the pitch.
“That’s what makes big players – putting their talent on the pitch.”
Ozil has scored seven goals already this season, with Arsenal currently fourth in the Premier League table, just two points off top spot, and already through to the last 16 of the Champions League.
