Operatives of the Civilian Joint Task Force fighting Boko Haram in the north-east brought some rare spoils from their activities in Maiduguri.

Members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and soldiers posed with huge pythons after capturing them in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.

The men looked joyous as they posed with the dangerous reptiles that were freshly killed.

It should be noted that the CJTF has played a significant role in combating the Boko Haram sect alongside the Nigerian troops in the north-east.

  1. This is how we have destroyed our ecosystem. This snakes were killed in their natural habitat and killed. After a while no pythons will be found in Nigeria. We need to protect wildlife. As am aware lions no longer roam our savanna.
