Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has been ruled out for the rest of the month with ankle ligament damage, according to reports.
Bellerin returned home from training with the Spain Under-21 side earlier this week but there was some initial confusion over what injury he had picked up.
The IBTimes suggest the defender took a knock to his ankle during the 1-1 draw with north London rivals Tottenham at the Emirates on Sunday.
Bellerin’s latest setback could see the Spaniard miss the Gunners’ next games against Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain.
The 21-year-old will also be a major doubt ahead of Arsenal league game at home to Bournemouth and the side’s EFL Cup tie against Southampton.
It’s understood Bellerin’s ankle injury is similar to the one sustained by his team-mate Lucas Perez last month.
Perez, who has returned to former club Deportivo La Coruna for further treatment, is expected to take to the field again in December.
