Nigeria’s camp is bubbling to life as invited players trickle in ahead Sunday’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

Trabzonspor’ Ogenyi Onazi who was on parade for 29 minutes in his side’s 4-0 defeat to Karabukspor in the Turkish elite division is among the early arrivals.

Others are Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Carl Ikeme, Emmanuel Daniel, Elderson Echiejile, Bobby Clement, Musa Muhammed, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Brown Ideye who was on target for Olympiacos in their 3-0 defeat of AEK Athens on Sunday evening.

According to a reliable source from the Eagles’ Bolton White Hotels and Apartments camp, all other players are expected at lunch time on Tuesday as training begins in the morning.

Nigeria face the Chipolopolo at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola as the race for Russia 2018 begins across Africa.

Chelsea’s Victor Moses, Watford’s Isaac Success and Mainz’ Leon Balogun will play no part in this crunch encounter due to injury, and coach Gernot Rohr has named Uche Agbo, Chisom Echugbulam and Godwin Obaje as replacements.
