Peoples Democratic Party, PDP agent, Ayo Fadaka, has claimed that INEC was too hasty in conducting Saturday’s election in Ondo,  noting that the election was conducted in less than 48 hours after Jegede was declared the PDP candidate by the courts.

But, Akeredolu’s agent, Dr Benson Enikuomehin insisted the election was free and fair and said the PDP and its candidate were only looking for excuses to cover up for their failure.

Meanwhile, Eyitayo Jegede has said he is still studying the election outcome.

“It is too early to decide on what to do, as a person. My party, the PDP, will decide what to do. We are still consulting with those who matter, so as to know the next line of action.”
