The Gunners’ boss has called in a Paris-based turf technology firm in order to solve their problems and they have now re-laid the pitches at London Colney.

Arsenal had been testing the AirFibr technology on the goalkeeper area for nearly two years but have now decided to roll out the turf on the rest of their 58-acre HQ, according to The Sun.

The all-weather resistant turf supposedly reduces the risks of players’ injuries by as much as 40%.

Arsenal were the first Premier League outfit to adopt the new technology but others have quickly followed suit.

West Ham, Lyon and Real Madrid are all known to use it, with the turf being particularly popular in stadiums in France.

Arsenal are already without several first-team stars including Danny Welbeck, Per Mertesacker Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud.

And they will hope the new pitch can help solve their long-term problems.
