Cristiano Ronaldo will sign a new contract with Real Madrid, keeping him tied to the club until June 2021, Marca reports.

The Portuguese star is set to put pen to paper when his agent, Jorge Mendes, meets with Madrid directors in the coming days.

  1. Why can't Real Madrid sell off this player at this time and make some good money? This is because at 31, Ronaldo's performance has already passed its optimum and now continues to depreciate. His selfishness in front of goal, out of desperation to keep scoring, can only be more expensive and capable of costing Real Madrid some silver wares going forward. His presence will also prevent other more capable strikers like Alvaro Morata from evolving.
