Tables are allocated to customers who have made prior paid table bookings in advance of their arrival except such customer is a patron or member of the club. . . However, Oritsefemi who did not fall into any of the categories above approached a patron’s table-of-six, and pleaded to be accommodated, with the understanding that other guests of the said patron were still been expected. . .

In a surprising turn of events, Oristsemi who was drinking from the patrons bottle, attempted to sit 8 of his guests at the table, the surprised patron strongly rejected such effrontery and invited the bouncer guarding the floor to intervene. . . The bouncer politely approached Oritsefemi and told him the patrons guests were still being expected, but Oristefemi, in a fit of unprovoked rage, slapped the bouncer then proceeded to breaking a glass in his hand and stabing him in the eye. . . The scene quickly became rowdy as other customers rushed to the table and confronted the artiste for his violent behavior, our security team quickly stepped in to salvage the situation by carrying Oristefemi out of the club. . . Oristefemi faced by an enraged crowd outside and perhaps realizing the gravity of his offense pretended to collapse. The artiste and the bouncer were subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital . . The bouncer affected later pressed charges at Bar Beach police station, where Oritsefemi accepted his offense and pleaded for mercy, he was granted bail at 12pm on the 13th of Nov. and advised to report back to the station on Tues. 15th of Nov. 2016. . . We were hesitant to release a press statement as several well meaning people have attempted to intercede on behalf of the artiste, but after his malicious and grossly false account of the events that occured, it is only fair that we defend the integrity and ethos of our organization.

  1. Why the bouncer approached and not the manager? What's the manager doing at that period? We need to learn. Bouncers are not customer friendly and am sure the manager is aware of that.

    1. You don't judge by press statement. I've worked with oritsefemi and Charlton before and Charlton won't allow him do such. Gentility of a lion is not the cowardness of its life. Bouncers are not meant to approach a sitting customer, managers can do that.

  3. @ocee, am not supporting oritsafemi and am not interested in whatever he did there. my point is that in any organization you treat you customers like a king, u don't send bodyguard to a king u send a chief or someone trained to do that. Do you know how much it takes to buy a bottle drink at that club? Here you are somebody leaves his house to come and wine at your club and u re treating him as if his not wanted that's not fair. That also shows how much they value their customers.

  4. I have read several opinion here and it amazes me, the sides most people have chosen to take.
In order for clubs to remain orderly and conducive for others, bouncers are employed to settle disputes and in the event that this cannot be achieved, he takes trouble makers out of the building so as to retain well behaved customers.
According to "olumitive" who said he worked with Oritsefemi and Charlton, stated "Charlton will not allow him do such". To me; this reinforces the fact that Oritsefemi has got a temper and has no control of behaving appropriately in the public, which Charlton historically puts under control. Furthermore, it was stated in the story above that "The bouncer affected later pressed charges at Bar Beach police station, where Oritsefemi accepted his offense and pleaded for mercy, he was granted bail at 12pm on the 13th of Nov". Meaning the has conceded and people should stop defending him.
This doesn't seem like his first time to me, he seems to have a history of creating public nuisance. If he can do this to a bouncer, then he should consider a career in becoming a bodyguard, being an artiste seems to be the wrong calling.
People with no fame can do such things and get away with it, Mr. Oritsefemi urgently requires anger management classes.

  5. HE IS LUCKY THE BOUNCER DID NOT DIE, THAT WILL BE MURDER, AND THAT WILL BE THE END OF ORITSHEFEMI AND HIS MUSIC CAREER, F*****H BOY.
IF THE BOUNCER DID NOT TREAT HIM WELL, HE COULD HAVE DEMAND THAT HE WANT TO SEE THE MANAGER.

  6. Complete rubbish. this is our problem in Nigeria when something is so obvious & someone is supporting hooliganism. No decent person will do such because they pay whatever amount. Other people's money made him what he thinks he is, no need to oppress someone doing his legal duty of keeping peace. If he didn't like the service he could have left. Would Dangote or any other decent businessman man or intellectual do that? Noooo!
