The Daily Mirror claims that the 27-year-old is unhappy with life on the bench and has accepted that he is no longer Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice striker.

Stoke City and West Ham are among the teams who have registered their interest in the England international, who has started only four Premier League games this season.

The report claims that Sturridge, who was signed from Chelsea for £12 million nearly four years ago, could make his exit in the January transfer window.

  1. £28m too small! It should be between £30m and £35m!! He's still a very good striker! Too many excellent strikers presently in LFC, that's why he's rated low! That was how we sold Benteke to Crystal Palace in hurry, only for him to turn out a star! However, I'll miss his beautiful goal scoring dancing steps!!!
