Swansea City boss Bob Bradley can understand the FA handing Manchester United rival José Mourinho a touchline ban.

Mourinho will direct his team from the Liberty Stadium stand as he serves a one-match touchline ban for bringing the game into disrepute with comments aimed at a referee last month. And Bradley has limited sympathy for his opposite number.

He said: “It’s hard to always know what’s right and wrong when you’re in a situation with authority.

“I’m a football manager and I would tend to side with fellow managers. I can relate to the fact he is under pressure. It goes with the territory.

“But we all have to deal with decisions made and you have to be smart about what to say and what not to say.

“It might feel good to get it out but it doesn’t usually change anything. I don’t see many calls reversed after a game.”
