    Federal Government To Extend International Passport Validity To 10 Years

    According to reports, the federal government is making plans to extend the validity period for international passport from five years to 10 years.

    This was disclosed by the comptroller-general of Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, in an interview with journalists in Abuja at the weekend.

    He said Nigerians should expect announcement of the policy change in the coming weeks or months.

    According to reports, the House of Representatives on Wednesday directed the Ministry of Works/Power/Housing to urgently complete power projects in Magboro, Ibafo and 198 other communities in Ogun State with a view to linking the areas to the national grid.

    Arik Air marks 10 years of flying, plans 52 aircraft

    Arik Air on Monday celebrated its 10th year anniversary with the addition of a new Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft to its fleet.

    The airline’s Managing Director, Chris Ndulue, told newsmen in Lagos that the addition was part of plans of Arik to increase its fleet to 52 by 2025.
