    2000 Suspended Immigration Personnel Hit Abuja in Protest

    Amid widespread unemployment and economic recession in the country, about 2000 suspended Immigration personnel are presently protesting their suspension at the Ministry of Interior, Abuja.

    President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered the suspension of their recruitment process and training exercise on assumption of office last year. They were almost through with their training exercise and were awaiting deployment as at the time of his directive.
