    JAMB: 3-year UTME will make students lazy, weaken institutions – Don

    A Monitoring and Evaluation Expert, Dr Julius Ajah of the University of Abuja has opined that enforcement of three-year University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results for admissions will weaken the institutions.

    According to reports, the Nigeria Union of Teachers on Wednesday appealed to Enugu State Government to release all outstanding promotions of teachers in the state.

    Army reopens Maiduguri-Gamboru road after 3-year closure

    The Nigerian Army on Wednesday reopened the Maiduguri-Dikwa-Gamboru road three years after it was closed as a result of the Boko Haram insurgency.

    The road was closed to motorists in 2013 at the peak of Boko Haram activities in Borno.
