    Nigerian ‘footballer’ sentenced to 8 years in jail, fined $10,000 for drug trafficking in Cambodia

    A Nigerian man who claimed to be a footballer was on Monday July 4, sentenced in Phnom Penh Municipal Court, Cambodia to eight years in jail and fined 40 million riel (about $10,000) for drug trafficking.

    30-year-old Francis Ihenwe Oderah had 100 grams of meth in his possession when he was arrested in Phnom Penh’s Choam Chao commune in January.
