    It was gathered that the Joint Military Operation in the Niger Delta on Friday said it had freed a kidnap victim and foiled another kidnap attempt in a bid to halt oil theft and criminality in the area.

    Police have commenced investigation into the alleged shooting of a farmer and abduction of two other farmers by suspected gunmen in Enugu State.
