    Abia guber: Governor Ikpeazu files another appeal in Owerri

    Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has approached the Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri to dismiss the originating summons earlier filed by Sir Friday Nwosu for incompetence which also ousted the court’s jurisdiction to entertain the action.

    Nwosu, who contested the December 8, 2014 PDP primary, had filed a suit at the Federal High Court, Owerri, where he accused the governor of forging his tax documents and submitting false information to his party and INEC.

    Abia guber: I’m confident of judiciary, I’ll challenge judgment at Supreme Court – Ogah

    The Dr. Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah Organisation has assured Abians not to loose hope because of the judgment of  the Appeal Court in Abuja, which  on Thursday, nullified the Certificate of Return issued to Dr. Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as the governor of Abia State .

    The organisation said that it still has confidence in the judiciary and believes that the Supreme Court will look into the judgment judiciously and correct the anomalies.
