    Late Abu Ali, Seun Egbegbe top Google West Africa search list

    Google’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa, Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, disclosed in Lagos yesterday that news about Nigeria’s gallant soldier, Lt. Col. Mohammed Abu-Ali, who died fighting Boko Haram terrorists, was top on Google search this week.

    Kola-Ogunlade said that the search was from November 16 to November 23, adding  that the Mannequin challenge which requires people to stay frozen while a video was being recorded also got people’s attention.

    Boko Haram: Nigerian Army to probe death of Abu-Ali, other soldiers

    The Nigerian Army is making arrangement to probe the death of the Commander of the 272 Special Forces Tanks Battalion, Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu-Ali, and six of his men in a Boko Haram attack at Mallam Fatori on November 4, 2016.

    It was gathered that a decision had been taken to probe the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate incident at Mallam Fatori, while a panel of inquiry was to be set up to probe the deaths.
