Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State has pardoned 20 suspects currently being detained in Bauchi Prisons for allegedly pelting him at the eid ground during the 2016 Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Mr. Abubakar announced this on Thursday in Bauchi when officials of Amnesty International paid him a courtesy visit.

Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State has denied tampering with the bailout funds given to the state by the Federal Government.
He said all monies received were appropriated for the purpose they were given, including paying of workers’ salaries.
