A Yola High Court on Thursday granted bail to the immediate past Governor of Adamawa, Bala Ngilari, who was arraigned over alleged N167 million contract processing without due process.
Justice Nathan Musa granted Ngilari bail along with his administration’s Commissioner for Finance, Sanda Lamurde.

Normal business activities have resumed in the commercial border town of Mubi, Adamawa, one year after its invasion by the Boko Haram insurgents, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The Chairman, Mubi Chamber of Commerce, Alhaji Abdulkadir Musa, said this in an interview with NAN on Sunday.
“We are grateful to God. Business activities have now resumed in Mubi, we are even experiencing shortage of shops, as you can see some people are displaying their goods at the roadsides,” Musa said.
Adamawa state officials have commenced the evacuation of corpses of those killed in Girei Local Government Area of the state in the Sunday gory attack on some communities by Fulani herdsmen.
At least, 30 people including the DPO of Girei were reportedly killed.
CSP Okozie Okoriofor, among other policemen lost their lives in the attack.

The Adamawa State Government has dispatched an assessment team to Madagali over Monday’s suicide bombing that claimed 17 lives, reports the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
The state Commissioner for Information, Mallam Ahmad Sajoh, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Yola.
