    Governor Wike sacks special adviser

    According to reports, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has sacked his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Protocol, Sir Joe Akpa.

    Wike, through his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, Friday in Port Harcourt, wished Akpa well in his future endeavours.

    It was gathered that the National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress,APC, Dr. Muiz Banire, has offered to resign from his post pending the conclusion of investigations into his alleged bribery of a judge.

    EFCC grills APC legal adviser, Muiz Banire for alleged bribery

    It was gathered that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday questioned the National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN).

     

    The EFCC also seized his passport before releasing him on administrative bail after detaining him for several hours.

    The former Lagos State Commissioner for Transport, was quizzed for an alleged bribery of a judge.
