    Governor Ajimobi slashes his salary, deputy, other Oyo political appointees by 50%

    According to reports, the government of Oyo State on Monday announced 50 per cent slash of salaries and entitlement of all political appointees in the state owing to the prevailing economic situation in the country.

    The announcement was made by Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Olalekan Alli, who addressed newsmen at the state secretariat, Ibadan, adding that the slash will begin with immediate effect.

    LAUTECH: Ajimobi, Aregbesola agree on joint ownership

    Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State and his Osun State counterpart, Rauf Aregbesola have agreed to an irrevocable commitment on joint ownership of the institution in accordance with its Act.

    Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has assented to the bill creating 35 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state.

    Governor  Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has declared Monday, Oct. 3 as public holiday to mark the Islamic New Year, 1438 AH, which begins on Monday.

    It was gathered that the Association of Resident Doctors, Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso has appealed to Gov. Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo to pay them their full salaries.
