Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has observed that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, may be losing his political influence on the party.
The former Minister said this while reacting to the decision of APC’s National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun to submit the name of former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Rotimi Akeredolu to the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, as the party’s flag bearer in the upcoming Ondo governorship election despite calls for cancellation.
APC leaders in the South-West geo-political zone of the country have declared that their recent declaration in support of fiscal federalism is borne out of patriotic zeal to ensure that peace and unity of the country is not threatened by recent agitations and pockets of crises in various parts of the country which are capable of setting the nation on fire.

Honorable Abdulmumin Jibrin on Tuesday was summoned by the leadership of the APC over the ongoing crisis in the House of Representatives over the 2016 budget padding.
