Students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have appealed to the Oyo and Osun state governments, owners of the institution, to take steps to end the ongoing strike.
They described the lack of resolution of the industrial action for the past five months as one capable of putting their academic careers in jeopardy.

Farmers in Ekpetiama Kingdom in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa on Wednesday appealed to security agencies to prevail on herdsmen who lead cattle to graze in the area to desist from the act, appealing to the authorities to wade into the matter in order to prevent any breakdown of law and order.
