    Buhari approves appointment of two Supreme Court justices

    President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Justices Ejembi Eko and Amina Augie to the Supreme Court bench.

    Acting Director, Information, Mr. Soji Oye, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

    The appointment followed NJC’s earlier recommendation of the two candidates to the President.

    Ac‎cording to Oye, the two Justices who were formerly of the Court of Appeal will be sworn in on Monday by the outgoing Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, who retires on November 10.

    No fewer than 1,022 people are in possession of fake letters of employment across the 11 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Gombe State.

    Aminu Aliyu, Head of Operations, Gombe Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), made this known to newsmen in Gombe on Thursday.
