Two sisters were on Tuesday, November 22, rescued from a house in Shabab Estate, Nakuru, Kenya after their landlord locked them inside for a month due to three month rent arrears, which sumed up to sh21k.
Police officers, who were on morning patrol, were informed by concerned neighbours that the two girls, aged 14 and 22, had been locked in the house.
Upon arrival at the scene, police officers broke into the house and rescued the girls who were greatly traumatised.

It was gathered that the Federal Government has paid 81 months pension arrears to Police, Customs, Immigration, Prisons and civil service pensioners.
