    ASUU ends one-week warning strike, asks lecturers to go back to work

    According to reports, the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Tuesday confirmed that it had ended its one-week nationwide warning strike over the non-implementation of a 2009 agreement with the Federal Government.

    Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, has called on newly installed Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, to immediately withdraw the bill of N300 million mansion retirement benefits for immediate past governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, and his former deputy, Dr. Pius Odubu.
