    Police IGP may implement audit report, Heads of subsidiaries panic

    The Nigeria Police has been thrown into panic as reports say the IGP, Ibrahim Idris is considering the recommendations of an audit report on police subsidiaries submitted last month.

    Findings of the auditors showed that the accounts of most of the subsidiaries were not consistent, with malpractices in disbursement of funds, the flagrant abuse of procurement procedure in the award of contracts and purchases made.
