    Three female human trafficking victims namely: Esther Frank, 17; Chinyere Ude, 19; and Happiness Igwe, 20 have been rescued by operatives of the police Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba at a hideout on Okpanam Road, Asaba.

    Five pregnant teenage girls and nine babies all below one year, have been rescued from a baby factory masquerading as a maternity home by policemen from the Central Police Station of the Enugu State Police Command.

    Not less than 14 pregnant girls and ladies have been rescued by men of the Abia State Police Command after they raided an alleged illegal maternity home.

    The police said the martenity home was allegedly being used as a baby factory at Umukpeyi village in the Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of the state.
