Pro-Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu on Thursday appeared before the Federal High Court, Abuja in continuation of his trial. He was denied bail.
The Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is being tried along three others on allegations of bordering on treasonable felony.
The three accomplices are Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.

Justice Baba Yusuf of the Federal Capital Territory High Court 4, has ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to release the former FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed, on bail.
The erstwhile Minister had been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission since October 24, 2016 when he honoured the invitation of commission.

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday fixed December 1 for ruling on the bail applications filed by leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and three others with whom he was charged with offences including treasonable felony and an act preparatory to act of terrorism.

A Surulere Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, on Friday granted N500, 000 bail to a 27 year-old-man, Ayomide Ilesanmi, who allegedly attempted to kill one Okwudili Obiora by pushing him down from a storey building.

James Tsoho, justice of the federal high court, Abuja, has granted Femi Fani-Kayode, spokesman of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign organisation, bail in the sum of N50m, and one surety in like sum.
In his ruling on Thursday, Tsoho held that the offence Fani-Kayode was alleged to have committed was a bailable one.
He, therefore, granted the defendant bail as requested by Afedayo Adedipe (SAN), his counsel.

According to reports, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) late Friday granted administrative bail to a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
The former minister is being investigated over allegations that he secured contracts from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) worth about N4.7 billion.

According to reports, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 6, Abubakar Marafa, has re-affirmed that bailing of suspects remain free.
