    Many Lagos beggars are fake – Taskforce

    Many beggars on Lagos streets feign illness to deceive innocent persons and get alms from them, the Chairman of the Lagos State Taskforce, SP Olayinka Egbeyemi, has said.

    Egbeyemi spoke while parading a 40-year-old female suspect Chinagoro Uwenke and her 11-year-old son Sunny, at the Oshodi area of the state.

    He said he woman had faked that her son had an injury.
