According to reports, the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the National Judicial Council, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, has said “the failure on the part of the Executive Arm of Government to act upon recommendations by the National Judicial Council cannot be blamed upon the NJC”.
