Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, has attributed fresh, high profile attacks by Boko Haram in the North East to the support of “some individuals.”
Buratai said this at the sideline of a meeting with a security delegation from the Atlantic Council, African Centre in the United States of America.
“We have some elements, who are within this society who are still supporting them clandestinely. So the support of every Nigerian is very key to the end of this terrorism.”
According to reports, the remains of Lt. Col. Muhammed Abu-Ali and six other soldiers killed in battle last Friday were committed to earth at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja, yesterday.

It was gathered that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai has said the army is set to launch a new operation code named “OPERATION RESCUE FINAL” with the aim to rescue every Boko Haram abductee and all other kidnapped victims.
