According to reports, the Bursar of University of Abuja and the Academic and Physical Planning Officers of the institution were yesterday grilled by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, over the utilisation of Tertiary Education Fund, TETFUND, intervention assisted projects since 2009.
The University has been under investigation by different anti-graft agencies over alleged violation of the Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Act 2000.

It was gathered that the release of the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Prof Adebiyi Daramola, and the school’s bursar, Mr. Emmanuel Oresegun, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) sparked a protest on campus, with the disgruntled workers asking for the duo’s sack.
