    Lagos state to employ 1000 graduates as Bus Conductors

    According to reports, the National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, Comrade Israel Ade Adeshola through the Lagos State ministry of transportation said it would employ 1000 graduates from different Universities as Bus Conductors.

    Comrade Adeshola in an interview with newsmen also disclosed that the new policy of the Lagos state government under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is collaborating with the association to give Bus Conducting profession a new look.

    Lagos State Government to Begin Training and Accreditation of Bus Conductors

    The Lagos State Drivers’ Institute (LASDRI) on Monday urged bus conductors in the state to be civil in their dealings with commuters and other road users.

    Mr Philip Ogunlade, the Chief Executive Officer of LASDRI, gave the charge in his address at a one-day training and accreditation of bus conductors in Lagos State.

    The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 55 executive members of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) participated in the exercise which began with medical checks.
