    Over 700 cases involving political parties and the Independent National Electoral Commission are pending in various Nigerian courts.

    The National Financial Secretary of Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria , Alhaji Shuaibu Bobboi, made this known at a press conferenceon Saturday in Jalingo, Taraba State.

    An Assistant Inspector of Prisons, one Judith Nwadialo has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command over alleged involvement in the kidnap of one Roseline Okathe, whose family paid N500, 000 ransom to secure her release.
