Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Roqeeb Adeniji, is dead.
Adeniji, also known as “Baba Computer” died at the age of 79 on Monday night, his son, Bolaji Adeniji said.

Crisis has hit the leadership of Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) with the State Working Committee (SWC) suspending the party’s state chairman, Rev Austin Ehiemere.

Hundreds of protesters, yesterday, stormed the national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and demanded for the immediate resignation of the chairman of the commission, Mahmoud Yakubu and national commissioner in charge of elections, Hajia Amina Zakari.
The protesters, made up of women, youths and lawyers, said their call for the resignation of Yakubu and Zakari, was informed by their refusal to investigate the arrest of three persons in Rivers State, who were found with fake INEC result sheets.

Security was on Friday beefed up at the Anambra office of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) following the confusion over its chairmanship.
The confusion came off a meeting attended by 17 of the 28-member State Working Committee (SWC) of the party which allegedly suspended the chairman, Chief Nobert Obi.

Mr. Taidi Jonathan, a former Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Minna branch, has commended the National Judicial Council (NJC) for suspending the indicted judicial officers to enable them to clear their reputation before competent courts of law.
