    It was gathered that the Ojuromi of Uromi, Anselm Eidonojie II, has filed a suit before a Benin High Court against the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, and the state executive council over his recent suspension as the traditional ruler of Uromi.

    Other respondents in the suit are the state Commissioner of Police, Assistant Inspector-General of Police (Zone 5), the Inspector-General of Police, the Nigeria Police Force, one Betty Okoebor and one Matthew Okoebor.

    The Economic Community of West Africa States, ECOWAS, Court has ordered immediate release of former National Security Adviser, Colonel Muhammadu Sambo Dasuki (rtd) from detention, where he has been kept since December 2015.

    The Kaduna State Government on Friday paid out over N80 million compensation for the expansion of Lokoja Road Primary School, Rigasa in Kaduna metropolis.

    An FCT High Court, Apo, on Thursday ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) and its Director-General DSS to pay N10 million compensation to one Kasim Kayode for fundamental rights infringement.

    The judge, Justice Peter Kekemeke, ordered the respondents to either charge Kayode to court or releases him unconditionally.
