    Investigate Arik Air for violation of safety rules – CSNAC urges NCAA

    According to reports, the Civil Society Network Against Corruption has urged the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to investigate the a commercial airline, Arik Air, for allegedly endangering passengers lives and violating safety rules.

    In a petition signed by CSNAC’s chairman, Olanrewaju Suraju, and forwarded to the aviation authority, the coalition said it gathered from sources within the aviation industry that the airline is committing variety of illegalities by encouraging its pilots to ignore regulations, among others.

    CSNAC demands probe of Nigeria Customs

    It was gathered that the Civil Society Network Against Corruption, CSNAC, has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to urgently investigate the Nigerian Customs for alleged bribery, corruption and forgery.

    In a petition forwarded to the anti-graft commission and signed by CSNAC’s chairman, Olanrewaju Suraju, the coalition said it is demanding a full scale investigation be launched into the activities of NCS in view of its alleged strong embrace of corruption, bribery and forgery.

    NJC shunned over 10 petitions we sent against judges – CSNAC

    A non-governmental organisation, Civil Society Network Against Corruption, has faulted a statement by the National Judicial Council, claiming it never shielded judges accused of misconduct.

    In the said statement issued by its Acting Director, Information, Mr. Soji Oye, after the council completed an emergency meeting over the October 8 and 9 raids and arrest of seven judges, the NJC said it had just two pending petition against two of the seven arrested judges.
