    The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, has said the university will not give room for cultism or harbour any form of illegality on its campus.

    Fagbogun said at the News ‎Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Lagos, adding that although cultism was not limited to Nigeria institutions and economy, it would not be allowed “because it is an aberration’’.

    Police in Delta state have arrested 28 suspected teenage cultists operating in some public secondary schools in Asaba, the Delta state capital.

    An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State on Wednesday ordered the remand of four students of the University of Lagos over their alleged involvement in cultism.
